Went to the Amherst Rail Show in Springfield, MA on Saturday and The White Plains, NY show on Sunday. I would have to believe the show in Springfield has to be the biggest show in the US? It has now expanded into 5 big buildings! Lots of boxed Tyco at both shows, funny how prices very from one dealer to another. Best deal of the weekend was the 4 Matchbox racers for $20.00 as they go for around $30.00 each on Ebay. The rest of the Matchbox $3.00 each. Best deal I passed on and wish now I didn't was unboxed Lifel-Like Burlington Black/Grey Switcher and GP9 for $30.00 each. The Rio Grande Passengers went for $17.00 each, the Rio Engine new in box $20.00, the Sohio $7.00, the nite glow and other assc $5.00 each and all other cars $3.00 each. The Coke car is a great example of price differences as I bought mine for $3.00 but saw other dealers have it for $12-25. Couple Superman cars were going for over $50.00. Are they scarce

NONE of the DC Cars are rare but people THINK they are but they ain't! ONLY reason is the DC Super Heroes There are also Batman, Wonder Woman, & Shazam AKA Capt Marvel
But I want to find those Rio Grande cars someday DO want to find the UP cars like those & use them with my CofSF UP E-7 loco

You did very well, nice lot of Tyco. I agree, none of the DC Comic cars are rare, BUT they do command a premium due to the additional comic collectors, cartoon afficianados and Super Hero followers. If you're ever going to list, you should cross list in those areas also.

I notice the Tyco Sohio 3 dome tanker which you don't see everyday. Nice finds, ptgolf !

Does anyone know if the Rio Grande Engine is somewhat hard to find?
