I'm contributing a custom painted CB&Q caboose, which was originally a Santa Fe car by Bachmann.

Here's a hard-to-find car by Bachmann - the Loop the Loop flatcar that goes with the Thrill Show set. I've seen the Engine, caboose, and boxcar all separate, but this flat is almost never seen by itself, or even with the set. I lucked onto a complete 4-car set so I bought it for an AMC project. This unit needs trucks but that's not a problem. I have those.

There used to be a thrill show with a guy using Javelins, so that will be basis for this train. I'm aquiring extra boxcars and cabooses as well as housing and transport.

OK that just might be the creepiest and funniest Athearn car I've ever seen. I had no idea a 38th year merits a commemorative anniversary. :P And what does a Youth Fair have to do with.... cattle? And as far as the Midwest goes, I'm pretty sure Benton Harbor, et al never had the draw that Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Detroit, Cleveland, St. Louis, or even Des Moines would. Still, I see they're still around although now billed as "The Largest 4H Youth fair in Southwest Michigan"
Still a neat car... and maybe even one that SOU2645 doesn't have.

Anyhow, here's one of my own: the first release of the Tyco Autoloader - only the first issues have the HUGE Frisco logo centered up top. Not too hard to find, but still a tiny tiny percentage of total autoloader production.
Another interesting trait of these cars is that underneath, the ejector-pin markings are virtually invisible. Take a look at any Tyco flatcar you have (what self-respecting model railroader doesn't have one?) and you usually find at least 3 ugly round marks in the underframe, with varying degrees of attempted blending. These first-run cars hadn't yet worn out the molds near the pins, so the ejector pin marks are perfectly seamless. Just an odd trait I find interesting as I'm fascinated by production processes and techniques.

I have that exact same car which came in my Super Over and Under set #7315, produced by Tyco. I still have the 3 Camaros and 3 Javelins that came with it.

<here's mine with different cars on it - Microbuss>
For the record, those are '68 AMX cars, not Javelins. Those "different" cars, Chevy Citations, really did nothing for me, either 1:1 or as autoloader fodder. They should have picked better cars to copy than that.

These cars were made for a number of years, evey year the car was a different color and a slightly different graphic design. These were made at a time when i lived out in CA, I moved back here in 2004 [got tired of LA,CA, got to crowded and too $$$] and found this one in a LHS used bin for $4 and i doctored it up a bit with Kadee couplers and metal wheels.
The BCYF is alive and well, draws well over 100,000 to 200,000 visitors from all over during its one week run every August. You will find all manner of cows, swine, chickens, turkeys, geese, lamas, rabbits and tons of horses. Then there is the commercial barns, tractor dealers, the home ec barns, livestock showing/judging, livestock auctions, food vendors galore, other misc vendors, the midway rides, concerts in the evenings, tractor pulls, and on the last day---The Demolition Derby that never fails to sell out.
