Has anyone noticed that Tyco offered an orange stake trailer in the cattle depot set, and a yellow trailer in the horse depot set?

These little trucks are cool. I have a 1965 Dodge A100 that has the same front end as the larger trucks of the era! This one is going Pro Street with mid engine & massive rear tires etc..

Mike, I always liked the Little Red Wagon. But I've decided to make a similar drag racing "looking" pro street truck that is street legal. Rear wheels inside uncut bedside openings using a nearly 470 cubic inch motor. Being a body man I'm going to great pains to get a really straight body covered in an (undecided) color of orange pearl... I found & purchased a pair of (imposible to find) aluminum headlight rings in NOS packages along with an NOS grill & tail & park lights. Bought this truck in Texas & had it shipped to Ohio. All of the buff and dark orange colored areas have been media blasted to clean metal & covered with an epoxy primer for now. Underside of truck will be media blasted & detailed with body color, I only have 5 photos of the truck in this computer but I have some good pics stored in my x wifes PC. I need to get her to send me more of them..
The rear axle housing (since photo taken with tires) has been sandblased clean & now has the ladder bar, coil spring mounts & wheelie wheels mounts on it. Qutie a bit of metal work was done to get it smooth b4 a couple of coats of primer.

MicroBen I think the bigger similar trucks like tyco produced are L-600s & L-700s. They were basically the A-100 cab set on a fendered base that fit a big truck frame. My dad was a truck driver in the 70s and drove one of those on some of the trips he made.
As for the little Red Wagon link, I'm using windows, lights etc in my "street legal" truck. Building a radical looking truck with a low stance with really smooth lines. If you notice, the door handles have been shaved. Remote controlled suicide doors are partailly installed now. I met Bill Golden, driver of the L R wagon in 1994 and watched him do two passes in it.

Keep us up to date Walt. Besides trains, I'm a car fanatic. Wish I still had one of my race cars when I was 20 years old, a 1964 Dodge 330 with a '69 440 motor...

Great info Mike! I too, have been a car fanattic since birth! I love big motors esp big block Chevy & the original Mopar Hemi's. The head designs on these engines make them vicious!
I also have a 79 Trans Am Smokie & Bandit with a 468 BBChevy & 4 speed. The massive torque of this car actually scares me but it's fun.. The car appears exactly as GM made it untill ya lift the hood. It's been an absolute blast & I've had it since 1984.
