I love it when people include 4 or 5 power packs in an auction(NOT!) ; they're heavy, they're out-of-date and unwanted....and it just adds to the cost of shipping. I guess they don't realize most buyers don't want them.

Hey, now, Micro, DON'T be putting Bachmann down....wasn't it YOU who wanted Tracksters? (exclusively Bachmann ) Bachmann rolling stock is no worse than Tyco or Life LIke. I just bought a set of Bachmann Thrill Show cars, and lets see, my vintage Kelvinator boxcars ( a la AMC corp ) are Bachmann's as well. True, the engines tend to be junky and possibly WORSE than Tyco for reliability ( and noise ), but some are ok. Only nit with Bach for me is that the cars are usually VERY shiny, not a matte finish (dull). Highly unrealistic, prototypically. My problem also with Bachmann is that there are very few of their cars I really want. The unusual ones ( Kelvinator, THrill show ), or the specialized ( Tri-level autoloaders and Tracksters ) are my preferences, but their run-of-the-mill cars don't do a thing for me. So when I see an auction like this one,I usually pass on it. I only bid on huge lots like this when it has enough variety ( and things I want ) to be worth it to me. Bachmann lots rarely is for me. I'll pass on this one. I DID watch an auction last week, with THREE Tracksters and a couple other cars, wound up selling for $28 (more than I had in my Paypal account just then after buying other stuff,) so I had to let it go. I look for smaller lots, usually.

Being a former school technology administrator and dealing with all types of content filters, I've seen quite a few unfortunate abbreviations. Association, assorted, and assembly seem to be very common. I've seen some far worse abbreviations....and then I have to explain to the 60+ year old teacher lady why her emails were being blocked. I don't miss that job.

Actually it's too bad about the trains. If the shipping wasn't so ridiculous, it wouldn't be a bad start for some kid. Not the best locos, but it would be a start.

here is his answer

No, it was 4.00, don't know how that happened. Sorry, it's $4.00. I will have to end the item then relist it. Unless you want it, you can just purchase it and I will revise it when I send you the invoice. Let me know I can end the item and fix it. Thanks V. Mancheste

He has it listed at $4 for shipping now. Not sure if this guy is all there based upon the $4/$50 comments above.
