For me, 3 biographies...Samuel Adams, George Muller and Deitrich Bonhoeffer...and some gear for my archery. My beloved thinks I look rather dashing at the draw...

No train gifts but the next best thing, a $25.00 Ebay gift certificate... My nephew had alot of HO trains set up under their tree. I got to watch him operate them on his DCC system. Have to say, the DCC is pretty cool!

For me, (I don't have a family) all I wanted is my dog to make it thru the holidays..... He was diagnosed with terminal cancer back in October. So far he is doing ok......

Oh yea.... I other thing I was hoping for is the Az Cardinals beat the Dallas Cowboys which they did- 27-26.

I do tend to go through socks pretty fast...the cat plays a part in that (he's a biter), so I guess it was an appropriate gift from him

A relative come by from Michigan on Christmas Day with his dog he always brings. The man wasn't acting his normal self. He later told that his vet had discovered cancerous tumors thruout the dogs body, and too far along for any treatment. The dog acted fine but was told he has very little time left.
Too many sad stories like this...

Hi All,
I'm sorry to hear about the animals and their sickness. That is very sad. I'm glad your friend was able to be with you for Christmas AF Kid.
No Trains for me this year. But I did get lots of Hot Wheels, Matchbox and other brand cars though! This is about half of them.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Mike

Hi AMC_Gremlin_GT,
I had to check my data base to see if I had ANY of those. Turns out I only have 3 Johnny Lightnings. A 1950 Chevy Suburban , 1995 Chevy Caprice police car marked for the St. Louis Metropolitan police and a Monopoly school bus. No greenlights at all. I have seen a lot of greenlights on the internet and they are very nice.
I am suprised that I don't have a more varied diecast mfr. group for my cars though, as my Wife will sometimes pick up box lots of cars for me at garage sales and flea markets and such.
Some of the mfr. names in my collection are, Athearn, Barclay, Corgi, Eldon, Ertl, F&F, Hot Wheels, Lesney, Lindberg, Lone Star, Maisto packaged under many brand names, MatchBox, Midgetoy, Playart, Racing Champions, Tomica, Welly, White Rose, Yatming, Zylmex and other no name cheap cars.
I love them all, even the cheap no names or the made in China junkers and even the very abused cars that people through out.
Anyway, I guess the short answer would have been no, LOL. I just like to rambel on about my cars.
