I was thinking about DCC as a way to get multiple trucks on the same track.

Has anyone ever done this with Tyco slot cars? Is it possible?

The nice thing about slot cars is that the motor IS pretty much isolated from the chassis ( plastic ), so there's no real issue there. I have a project in mind to DCC a Tyco Turbo Train to run on my club's layout. Have i done it yet? No. Do I intend to? YES! The amperage draw will be minimal due to the size and weight of the unit, so the Decoder should work in a slot car ( or truck, or train ). Only thing I can think of will be the 3-pole motors causing balky starts, and limited rail contact area. I'm not sure if they make a 5-pole square motor. But I'm thinking it will be awesome to run a Tyco Turbotrain around my club's staid layout. Heh heh heh! Maybe I can put another engine at the other end, like a UA Turbotrain, and use those contacts as well but not a motor. Hmmm.....
