Erich ; Nice photos. Most we would can tinplate. Who made the F7a locos. I have a show to go to on Saturday. The New York Society of Model Engineers annual train show. I have a table to sell but mainly to get in early and see it all before the doors open to the general public. I will enjoy the foods there. Coffee and donuts in the morning. For lunch, a soda and hotdogs with sauerkraut. Well I'll get some photos to. frank

Sorry Frank, don´t know maker of the Pennsy! Thought it was Brawa, but it´s not. Must be a older model with this couplers and coupler pockets looking out of the pilot. Don´t forget a glass of bear when you eat sauerkraut with sausages! Cheers - Erich

Awesome pics Erich! There's a nice amount of detail in some of those layouts. The tinplate is cool too. Thanks for sharing

I'll have that beer and raise you one. Here the company that makes DCC equipment and throtles to power trains Model rectifer Corporation, MRC, releases from time to time locomotives made by different manufactures. Athearn made a C44-8W diesel. they take there DCC chips and install them in other locomotives to make it easier for modlers to get DCC equipment. Thelast was a F7A and B in pennsy identical to the ones you show. Just diffeent numbers. Stewart-Walters also makes one that is the same. frank Here is the Stewart a F3A

here is the MRC. It uses metal side grills you can see through.

Thanks for the links, Erich. I had seen random pictures of the Mariazell railway before but neither knew its name nor realised it was narrow gauge. Keep posting those European locos, I love a bit of continental flavour.

Erick : With the F7s, so many look alike. With most made in china, most are similar inside also. As long as they run well and last that is the most important. frank
