I got a rubber band runner today from a friend. I have no idea who made it as there is not a name to be found. The motor runs great a slight wobble in the shafts but that can be solved.
My question where do I get the rubber bands??
Any ideas!

No, he's talking about rubber bands that actually turn the wheels. I don't know if it's the best option, but I use some of the medium sized bands from my wife/daughter's hair bands. They come in a huge assortment of various sizes. They're not the cloth type ones, they're just plain black rubber bands. I think they also come in fancy colors. Either way, you can get them anywhere that has hair care products. I just got an RDC yesterday that has rubber band...also called Hi-F or sometimes Hi-Fi...drive and they work pretty good. You'll have to replace them a lot, because the just don't last. But from what I understand that's just the nature of these drives.

I believe the original replacements are still available from Athearn on their site, and I'm sure you could find some from ebay or a really good train dealer.

I believe most rubber-band drives were Athearn or AHM brand.

Thanks Carl. The thing I like about this site is when you have a question no matter how stupid it is to some people you can get an answer.
Thanks guys.
