Santa (Fe?) brought tons of reading material:
-North American Railyards -Classic American Railroad Terminals -CSX (UMI railraod history series) -Chessie System (UMI railraod history series)
And a Microscale railroad crossing sign - to make up for the REAL, brand-new reflective aluminum sign I miseed out on at the 127 Yard Sale (was only $40 - I went back the car and came back, it was gone).
Santa was good to me this year [:D]

Hi All,
Santa was very good to me this year. I received about 30 pieces of rolling stock that includes 4 engines, all F units, my favorite. One of the F units is the Bachmann chrome (?) Santa Fe warbonnet, I'm using this for my Coca Cola train ( Thanks GIC ) until I get a real Coca Cola engine. Most of the items are older Bachmann and then some Athearn, Lionel and Life Like, all HO scale. I did get one Tyco train mint in box and that was a UP High Cube Box #371A. I know these are very common, but this is my first one and the train and the box look like they just came from the factory. I did get a couple of odd things that I was going to post on here to see if anyone knows anything about them. One is a Bachmann sealed inner plastic tray ( from a set I guess ) with a power pack a 66 tank car a Santa Fe cattle car and a UP caboose but no engine. I thought that was kind of strange. The only # I can find on the box is #608-Z. It all looks new. I'm just wondering what set it came from. I have other questions but my main computer crashed today with all my pictures so i'm using the 800 year old stand by. I can't complain though she keeps me on line. I have to say Santa ( my Fiance ) is a real go getter. She hit every garage sale, Flea market, news paper around trying to get me some Tyco items for christmas.
SHE is the best gift I've ever received.
Bye for now
Mike

I was very fortunate this Christmas...
Got a Digitrax Zephyr DCC set up from one of my employers. My other employer came through with the first Christmas monetary bonus ever and it allowed me to buy a Spectrum C&IM 2-10-2 DCC Steam Engine. Also got one of the new Bachmann EZ-DCC SD-40-2 in Santa Fe and the Athearn John Deere Train Set after Christmas from Wal-Mart.
And my biggest surprise and the gift I've shown off the most was a custom TYCO Resource Van...Thanks GIC...
