North Platte Railfest
Friday, September 17, 2010

Going here again
http://www.nprailfest.com/ its a 3 day event Sept 17-19 But only going the 18th
Take a bus tour of the World's Largest Railyard
See the Tower & get a bird's eye view of the yard
Get souveniors like T-shirts
They have good food there as well
Model train show & swap meet too!
Will post pics of event on Saturday night or Sunday after work

CNW was the ONLY heritage loco there But I barely caught The Katy leaving

Hey guys! Looky what was in the display case at Golden Spike Tower! Look familiar?

This is what all I got at model train show The vendors that WERE going to come cancelled on Thursday at the last minute! So there were only 3 vendors there plus the displays of running trains

but neat stuff I got Will post more later

oh well its just a HUGE plastic wall hanging

It's only called that cause its in the middle of yard & when it was new NO ONE could find it lol
