HI ALL - I JUST RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM FORMER MEMBER G-I-C. I AM RELAYING THIS FOR HIM CONCERNING OUR MEMBER LOOP N- HOOK. LOOP-N-HOOKS HEALTH IS IN BAD SHAPE WHICH IS WHY WE HAVEN'T SEEN HIM MUCH ON HERE. TONY IS RAPIDLY WORKING ON A STEAM ENGINE THAT LOOPY WANTED HIM TO DETAIL JUST AS THE ORIGINAL - TONY SAID IN THE MESSAGE THOUGH HE MAY NOT GET FINISHED IN TIME DUE TO HIS DETERIORATION OF HEALTH. LOOPY HAS TOOK A TURN IN THE PAST AND PULLED THROUGH AND MAY AGAIN - I / WE HOPE HE DOES. TONY IS JUST ASKING THAT ALL OF US THAT KNOW HIM TO KEEP HIM IN THOUGHT AND PRAYER AS LOOPY HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE FORUM GREATLY. TONY ALSO SAID HE MAY HAVE POSTED WITH OUT HIS KNOWLEDGE OR MINE TOO AS I HAVEN'T BEEN ON MUCH MYSELF.

I've been in touch with Loopy's over the past several months, and have been aware of his health struggles. I let him know that he's been missed on the forum, and encouraged him to return if possible. I asked his wife a few weeks ago if she thought I should make an announcement like this to the forum, but she said George is a very private man and would probably prefer to let us know himself. It's nice to know GIC has been there for him.
Here's hoping you're back here in style, George. You've got to let Tony finish #40 for you.

Boy it's been some time since I've been here...just thought I'd share a link to Tony's site, and also send my best out to Loopy. True model railroaders seem to be a dying breed, and I would hate to see another unable to spend time in this great hobby...

| Glad to see Positive comments. Loopy is a fan of my videos and i always receive an personal email from him when i post a video. Loopy - if you are reading - Hope you didn't/ don't mind me posting this topic - As Nickel Plate said - You are a private person and not my intention to invade on your privacy or anyone else. If Loopy or Loopy's family is reading - I hope you're not mad at me. Loopy has knowledge that can't be bought or replaced. I would like to add the following : The former member whom i received the info from and i forgot to mention this info in first post is wishing everyone well and felt that we should be informed at this time - with that said - If i receive any updates that can be shared - i will let you all know unless Loopy himself posts on here. Loopy - praying for you / your family and your health my friend

Loopy and I have not met in person. But, though the forum we have shared many a post, with our knowledge of older Trains and desire to share this with others, past and present. George, I Hope you recover soon, so we can continue to share information and our love for the Hobby. The New Hope and Ivyland engine that Tony built for you beautiful. Our thoughts and wishes go out to you and your family and to Tony and his Family.
