I actually didn't find this one. My mother-in-law called me and said she found four boxes (condensed to three heaping shown below) of HO stuff for $100. What she DIDN'T tell me was he had two bigger boxes of O stuff for $80 - which could have easily paid for BOTH sets.
Anyway - here is a list of what was in those three boxes. Five engines, twenty-five cars, eight cabeese, five transformers, 2 accessory sets, eight buildings, two blinking bridges with trestle sets, 181 and 115+ feet of track. I'd say I got a pretty good deal.

The Tyco has the Santa Fe badge on the front - the Bachmann is just red on the front, grey back. The Tyco also has the black and yellow and red curved & straight striping.

Original invoice from eBay seller for ONE of the Bachmann sets for $87.96. With five engines and five power transformers, and at LEAST that much track - I'm guessing I came out really ahead on this for $100.

The garage sale report thread is about 6 or 7 links down the list on the Loose Ends page.
Nice lot. Seems like everybody wants to sell in big lots like that. It sure makes it hard on the wallet. I passed up a lot two weeks ago for $75 and I'm kicking myself.
