I picked up this boxcar and the activator seperately. I still haven't got them operating on my layout. What's the green thing at the bottom of the picture? It was in the box with the activating track.

Possibly a backstop to keep the crates from flying away? Might be a piece missing there, The unloaded crates have to go somewhere. I'm missing the whole switch n' track piece myself, I have two of the unloading boxcars.

well here's mine Got it for $7 at a 2nd hand store
 Should find out if all the pieces are in it & sell or trade it here

Hi burlington77,
Looks like you are missing a part for you activator track. the missing part is outlined in yellow in the picture. The little green part could be from something like the item outlined in red, though i'm not sure on that.

The green thing is a drop door for a Tyco light green / blue ore dump car. Check Mytyco's pic, Tyco accessory 925, you can see the door down with ore being dumped on top of the door.

Ken, you could open an HO scale coupler museum. Very cool to see all of the different types, especially when horn hooks had all manner of steel springs.

about my 47 piece bridge set? it has 46 actually! seems to be missing the bridge part Oh well am sure someone can use it  Yo B77 I has a loading & unloading set I think complete
