I also collect AF and always wanted one of these. River Raisin sold them in "S" gauge for $2,700, but I couldn't afford it. So when I saw Athearn made them in Ho, I picked it up the other day. It is too nice to take out of the box. Plus I don't have anyplace to display it.

Very cool turbine, AF Kid. It's huge! Does it weigh as much as it looks?
I was saving for the regular turbine model but it sold out before I could get the readies together.
Maybe next time.
