I've sent and recieved allot of items by USPS and never once had one damaged. I did have a large bird cage trashed by UPS a few years ago. It appeared that the UPS airplane opened it's door above my home and pushed it out! $200 cage and I'm glad we insured it!

Glad you're getting settled, Brain. I'm sure you're going to be busy for quite a while unpacking, especially those trains. My stuff arrived in fine shape. Thanks again for finding a box for the loco.

| Mine arrived last week - one little item broke off one car, but I should be able to glue it fine. Otherwise no problems. Good to hear you're getting things straightened out.

Hi - I found my computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - on it now!!! - I am still un-packing - will be for a while. I am suffering from SSS - which stands for Scattered S*** Syndrome - This is a slow progress of getting un-packed and -re -organized -but making headway. All of my train collection is in storage at my mom and dad's for now - over 50 - 20 gallon totes and boxes and some are here with me at new place. You never know how much of anything you have until you move it all and pack it .
Romcat - Thanks and yes things are looking up

I'm reminded of a little story - here is the short version - The door bell rings - the husband goes to the door - outside are four people who introduce themselves as Wealth, Success, Love and Adversity. He is told that he can invite only one into his home. He consults with his wife and children - they make a decision - he returns to the door and asks for Love to come in because that is the most important part of life. Then, as Love goes into the house, the others follow. Why? he asks. Without Love in the home he is told, any of the other three can destroy a family. When Love is there, it doesn't matter how much trouble is caused by Adversity - it can be overcomed. Without Love, Wealth and Success will not matter at all.
So Brian, hang in there -
Cheers Bill
