I bought five of these aluminum passenger cars today. I'm 99% they're made by Grant Hobbycraft and Toys Limited. The guy at the store told me they're made by Kasiner and were released under various names over the years. I looked up Kasiner, and they don't look like mine. Can anyone shed some light on these? There doesn't seem to be any info on Grant on the net.

The previous owner installed body-mounted knuckle couplers, but other than that I think they're original.

Hi Cheez. They are Mantua cars. The main body, ends, and trucks are Mantua. Someone changed the floors. They were probably trying to add more details to the bottom of the cars. Thats why they drilled so many holes. Nice Cars. Carl

Nice cars, Cheez. This was the only diagram I could find in the miscellaneous section of HO Seeker.

Shucks, I dunno... just talented, I guess.
Larry has a button for Hobby Craft on the literature page, and that took me to the miscellaneous section. Cheez, if you join the Vintage HO group on Yahoo, you'll probably find out more info on those cars than you'll ever need. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vintageHO/
So how do you like that? Those coaches are pure Canuck!

Thanks for all your input. I see there is still some mystery as to what they are, but I think I can answer my own question.
As I said in my first post I was pretty sure they were Hobbycraft. I was curious though as to whether or not another manufacturer released these cars. Since there doesn't seem to be an exact match on the net...
...out from under my layout comes this little gem

Geez...I should probably scan those for Larry over at Hoseeker huh? I think the original assembly instructions are in there as well...
