Deat Brian:
don't let the dust settle on you brother. Sounds like you have your head up. Courage none-the-less. This is no ordinary thing and I hope you come through it well and arrive on the other side better. While you're going through it I hope some blessing is part of it.

I've already given my thoughts to Brian in a PM but I did want to say to everyone how much of a pleasure it is to be able to be a part of this group and especially to get to know Brian. He is a fine example of someone who cares for others even in times of adversity.
Part of the fun involved with "Brian's Sale" is seeing the additional comments and information about some of the items that have been listed. Plus, I was very pleased when microbuss offered to provide the missing sign for one of my purchases - thanks Ben.
Brian,
I hope that you will read all of the comments in this thread to your family so that they will know that there are a lot of folks around the world praying for you at this time.
Cheers Bill

| Brian, hang in there bud. Times will get better, eventually this country will pull out of this mess and I think the comeback will be very strong. We'll probably pull ahead of everyone else again, their troubles are just starting. You're lucky you do have family to rely on, that's always a great thing.

Brian, I hope everything works out for you, brother. Hang in there.
As you know from a previous chat/discourse we had a while back, I was unemployed for almost 2 years, I also lost my home...and I had a divorce after 16 years of marriage...all happening within a year. Oh, and my favorite Aunt died, too, in that year.
Sigh. That was just to let you know that you aren't alone, just as the fine folks above my post have shared painful facts with us here.
It WILL get better, as this is only a setback. Dunno why so many variables are attempting to gut and destroy the middle class, but I know better now.
There was a Rasmussen poll sometime in February that said 8 out of 10 families in the US has one spouse unemployed, was facing divorce, foreclosure...or a combination of these...or all 3, as in my case.
I'm still standing, brother....just as you are.
Hug your family tight....and count what blessings you have.
Take Good Care, -R

Hi Brian,
It really hurt my heart very much when I read that you lost your home. I can't begin to imagine how that must feel. I like the positive outlook you have and I hope this will be the begining of much bigger and better thinhgs for you and your family. I too have been out of work for almost a year now. I hope that things will turn for all of us this year.
We are here if you need us.
