my shark arrived today,2 things,what make of horns will fit it,2 pins approx 4mm centre to centre,ie model power etc,and secondly whats the mothod of removing couplings on these ken

Nice shark! Not familiar with that configuration of coupling, what make is it? I'd say it almost has to have a screw holding the piece on from underneath somehow. Or the coupler clips into the pocket somehow.

Not sure about the couplers Ken, as they appear to be different from my Model Power issue (the rear one is truck mounted). The paint job looks generally better, too.
I have a spare SF shell with horns, but I couldn't tell you who makes a compatible replacement.

i have big hands so am a bit wary,when stripping delicate things,looked at it yesterday,thought i had answer,but decided to see if i could be sure before proceeding,threw caution to the wind,its simplicity to strip,ken
its a plug fitting,with a small but fragile puller on top,luckily i did not break it

Clever little pins. The Model Power is Roco too, but ER had them completely redesign the drivetrain.
