During a rail fanning trip in 1969, WKS risks his life to snap this photo of a PC intercity express barreling over a bridge in Hackensack, NJ.

While Chops, up to his hips in the swamp, takes a safer angle of the same train. It is out of focus because he will soon be in over his head after taking this shot.

Before tossing the camera to WKS, Chops's last words were, "mggrflllturgle."

Mind boggling empires. I still wonder how they all manage to get together and create such things. This calls for an unusual degree of cohesion and cooperation. The local train club's layout was much more a patchwork quilt of divergent interests resulting in a muddle that works, sort of.
Anyways, here a DMU lurks around the collier buildings near Henley. She rolls on a point to point affair using the highly reliable, and simple, Bachmann Auto Reversing Track.

June 11th, 1929 While Ephrata Valley RR crews investigated an unknown issue with "Double-Nickel" 4-6-2 steam locomotive #55, they were startled by booming footsteps which drew closer, until they found themselves standing toe-to-toe with Titus the Triceratops. Although not the first reported sighting, this was the closest Titus had ever been to a train. As the fireman and other workers stood in awe on the ground, the engineer climbed up the steps on the pilot and reached out his hand, attempting to coax the dinosaur off the tracks. Shortly thereafter, Titus retreated back into the woods of Deciduous Curve.

Ever hit a creative rut? I've been avidly running model trains for the better part of life since the age of five, and last January it was just like someone put a pin my balloon. I just can't seem to bring myself in there to be shooting up more vids and pics. Haven't posted a new photo on the TF in ages. Going to give myself a shove and see what happens. Frank's cool Joeuf helped kindle a little spark.
