A few years ago, I saw some coaches like the Central Pacific ones and the steps seemed awfully high off the ground to me. I thought they looked kind of strange. Lately, I rode some 19th century passenger equipment and found out that those high-flying steps were normal, then.

Not the original but the Hooterville Cannonball is still running in similar fashion today.
Parlor car refurbished and named after Homer Bedloe.
Named after a former president of the railroad.
