Reading Rambler on a pleasant day journey in the valley. Mogul number 1475 leads the four passenger set.
Pleasant breeze this sunny morning.
Many people look forward to this trip.
Nice three hour excursion thru lush fields.
Half filled train during the week.
Breakfast will be served on board shortly.
Some passengers want the sun and breeze to feel the euphoria.
Caboose with modern amenities completes the luxury set as we pass Stevens Pennsylvania.

Lot of reds in that nice photo, WKS, reminds me of the colors of Blossom.

Short and quick I was only able to get the caboose as she flies thru Teaneck New Jersey.

Lots of activity at the North Bergen, NJ platform, as passengers board for express service
to Armodilloville. The Grand Stench Railroad is offering a competitive service, much like
the NYC versus PRR NYC to Chicago routes.

Alas! I doubt that bouncing along in the bus body cars of an Aerotrain will ever gain the reputation for top-notch luxury enjoyed by the Broadway Limited, and the Grand Stench Railroad will probably never have the sonorous ring of "20th Century Limited." Life can be uncompromisingly hard at times.

Amtrak MOW locomotive and caboose goes to pick up its MOW consist.
The train is so new in El Paso, that there is no depot yet! A maiden flag stops the train
going west, to Tuscon.

ABPF No. 210 rounds the bend at blaxland yards, running light toward Fontana. No. 210 has just arrived on the line after a long journey by ship from Cuba, and is keen to make an impression on his former homeland. 210 had been built in the states, then shipped to Brazil, then Cuba, and back to America again.

As the autumn season begins in reality, it is still autumn in Ephrata, and as the brisk air whistles thru the trees, a Pennsylvania Railroad "Brunswick Green" GG1 is spotted arriving at the Schuylkill Valley Station with a freight train around 8am.
