For those of you wondering where all the NYC Dreyfuss's have gone...

I don't own them my friend over at the rental layout does. First one in the middle he found at a train show. Its been repainted and is matched to a ill-tracking bachmann tender. The 2nd one he got off ebay is in the very back, and is the quietest Rivarossi you'll come across. BUT it has a melted shell & tender (can't see it in the shot) dunno how that happened. Closest to the camera is the only one that still & original paint, runs, and isn't melted lol. He loves the looks of them, so much so that he's debating saving up for the new version from MTH or BLI. But for now he decided to corner the market on used Hudson's so I went ahead and staged a photo op

Back in the 1990s Rivarossi started using Kato motors in their engines. These have the Kato motors. Carl

Just won at Auction, early 60's Brass Pacific Fast Mail Canadian National C-5-g 2-6-0 Mogul.

Love Moguls. The previous owner installed a can motor and DCC plug but didn't finish the pilot truck repair..... so...

There's one now on Ebay, with tender, currently $15, doesn't run.
