bought this on ebay last week.Was gone over and it runs great with plenty of pulling power.I bought this for my father whom I destroyed his when i was a kid. we are starting a new lay out for my kids now and I am looking to replace what I broke years ago,If i only knew now back then.....I believe this was made in 1977.even got the caboose too.

I had a Silver Streak set as a kid. What great memories I had of that set!
A couple of years ago- just before my son was born, I bought a Silver Streak set still in the box off Ebay. I also bought another Silver Streak loco and caboose (NIB)... just in case!
