Hi Ken !

I dont care for the price, because I dont think I will buy them.
But I like the conversion of the different units (roadnames) and their outfit. - Erich

I know alot of the times the F3/F7's that they sell will show up for sale in the bargin bin if your really keen on getting one. Wait a few weeks and check back every so often and you'll probably find one you like on sale.

No problem! You gotta keep a eye on it, they rotate stuff almost daily. Like today there were just two B-units in there. I've seen some days where they have had almost 2-3 pages full for various F-units that were marked down. A few times I've seen B&O and NYC stuff come across and its made me wonder lol. My friend bought two Canadian National F7's a few months ago from them. Extremely impressive runners, I swear they could go all day if you let them. Only thing I hate about all the detail they put on is you have to be careful where you grab them. I think any of my friend's P2K units he's accidentally ripped off the grab rails along the doors. You can see his CN's on the far left.

Whats cool is they have the same drive & gears as Walthers H10-44 he bought also. So every now and them well put the H10 behind the F7's, interesting looking lash up lol.

Yes, much detailing must be handeld with care! Its not my thing to hunt always for spares,
if you can get them without problems. I like something cheaper without parts made to brake away!

Not to change the subject because the P2K's do run awesome. But if you want that kind of pulling power on a budget and you don't wanna break things every other time you pick it up, take a gander at the Model Power Metal trains in the picture I posted (engines 2 & 3 from the right side, the CN & PRR). We've been running the crap out of ours since we got them and have had no issues. Details are molded in, but their paint is good. We switched one of the CN units over to a LED since the lighting sucked.

Got a Bachmann FT ABBA! Runs good and a nice puller. Mistaken warbonet scheme and not all leders molded. 32 Wheels driven!

I also have a Varney ABBA, diecast and I like this monster with also 32 wheels driven.

How many wheels driven on Model Power? Diecast? - Erich

Actually the shell is metal also! 3 things it calls short on if you want to compare it to P2K. The flywheels don't let the engine coast nearly as good as the P2K's when stopping, the metal trains are a little more abrupt. But still smoother than most engines without flywheels. Their detail isn't as nice, but it wouldn't call it bad either. Since its mostly molded in you can handle the engine however you want with no consequences. And finally the lighting is pretty poor. But we already upgraded one of the CN's with a LED kit and it worked great. Eventually I'll do my PRR as soon as I get time.

Quick bump, but the bargin bin over at Walthers is FULL of stuff right now. There has to be 5-6 pages worth of stuff under HO locos. I was starting to wonder because I hasn't been updated for awhile. Anyways just letting everyone know!

Is that the same loco as in the 1976 Silver Streak movie? If it is I'd want one of you to AmRoad/CP Rail 2 for me

They have their Trainline GP9M, which looks like another reissue of the 90's Mantua/Mehano GP20 for $26, if anyone's interested.
