I was at our local train show yesterday and found the Canadiana train set for $10. I'm pretty excited because this was the first set I had as a kid.
The loco is the C-430 and there were no handrails with it. For the life of me I cant remember if the loco of my childhood had handrails or not. I've looked on the internet and could only find one picture of this loco with handrails. all of the others show it without.
So my question is this. Did this loco come with handrails new? Life is too short not to play with trains. So grow old, not up my friends.

It should have come new with handrails, but they would've been packaged separately for the owner to install. At some point Tyco stopped including handrails, but I think that was after this engine was produced.
I have a few Canadiana C430s and only one has handrails.
