Let's get this week hoppin' with a hopper:

It's Life-Like, if I'm not mistaken. For some reason I love this little mold, probably because the Burlington in front of it was one of my first pieces of rolling stock. The picture actually looks better than the real thing. It's so orange, you could carry it during hunting season to stay safe. I've got an equally bright yellow Chessie one that I'll save for later.

Recognize this?

Actually came to me as part of a boxlot found in a police evidence locker. I gussied it up with stirrups and wire handgrabs.

burlington77 I have a pair of those that are black with yellow Erie lettering. Currently stored since we don't need them clogging up the rental layout. But I also have the burlington hopper that's peaking into your picture as my home built track cleaner. I do like them they are neat looking.
On with some hoppers. Been looking for a set of these for awhile and finally ran into them at the last Greenburg show. My friend liked them so much we went online and found two sets of his own, so now we have a train of 9 of these things rolling around. Made by model power.

Here are a few of my Mehano ore cars. They came in two of the President's Choice train sets (five in each set). They each have individual numbers.

| Nice ore cars. I remember they were a staple of my brother's N scale layout, but I never saw many of them in HO.
