I noticed an example of the subject loco go through Ebay recently for about $266.
I had previously read on a forum that problems with the delrin gears on these had caused Bachmann to possibly drop production.
So I am not sure if the purchaser has a lemon.
They seem to be in the hens teeth category when it comes to availability.
(1) Anyone know if Bachmann are thinking of bringing an improved HO version back to the market?
(2) Anyone know of another HO version, [other than brass] in the market or coming along?
