Powered loco #41-630-E8 Dummy loco #41-630-E9 Caboose #43-1007-F1 Hopper #43-1006-F2 road #352450 Hopper #43-1006-F3 road #352451 Hopper #43-1006-F4 road #352452 Hopper #43-1006-F5 road #352453 Hopper #43-1006-F6 road #352454 Hopper #43-1006-F7 road #352455
Does anyone have any info on this set? Was it a promotional set?

I'll have to do some looking, but I remember a mail order offer in RMC and/or MR in the late '80s to maybe around 1990 that offered NS, NW, SOU sets built from Bachmann items. They had the high-nose GP50 and other power with coal hopper trains. Believe this is where the NW Bachmann GP40's come from that you see sometimes on eBay.
This set you mentioned sounds like it was one of this company's offerings.

I'd appreciate any info you can find Tony. I haven't seen any others like these.

I found an ad in Feb 86 Model Railroader. They were sold by Blue Ridge Trains. It seems they didn't sell them for very long. Thanks.
