I ve been looking for one of these for a while and finally found one. It is in working order, all it needed was 3 new light bulbs. I'm going to hang it on the wall next to the GIC clone clock !!

Is that the one that sold on eBay about a week or two ago? If so, you bought just in time. One of those just fetched close to $400, I think it was last night. My days are messed up with this flu right now, I'm awake when I should be sleeping and vice versa, this whole week is just blurred as far as time goes. I guess that clock would've straightened me out. Very nice, looks perfect.

Hey NYC, I got this for a shade below $125, I did see the one that went for close to $400. It was a stretch for me to talk my wife into what I paid for the clock. She wouldn't go for the $400, I wouldn't either. Thanks to everyone for the comments, can't wait to get it up on the wall.
Hope you feel better soon NYC.

Hi Tom. Congrats on your purchase. You got a Great Deal..!!! and It looks to be in Great shape.. You may want to wire in a switch to control the lights. This way you can run the clock with no lights and the heat from the bulbs won't damage the paint on the glass. I used a vintage toogle switch on mine. Easy to install. Carl

Hi Carl, I think I got really lucky on the price of the clock, it is in good shape too. You must be reading my mind about the switch, I was thinking about adding ne for the reason you mentioned. Thanks for the tip. Tom

Congrats and good score! You'd've had competition if I hadn't had to focus on Christmas gifts for other people, LOL. Anyway, maybe now at least you can tell me how close mine is or how it compares directly.
I can't believe that last one sold so high. The first one only went for about half that. Who knew an unmarked cardboard box and some crumpled-up 1955 newspaper could be worth so much?
There's tons of old newspaper - yes even back to 1955 - at an abandoned cabin on the farm. They used it for wallpaper. No matter, once I peel it off and crumple it for "vintage packing material" I'll be RICH! RICH I SAY!!!! MWUWAHAAHAHA!!!!

Hey Tony, The decal / dial you sent me is dead on to the original. I'll place them next to each other and snap a pic to post. I was surprised at the price I paid. I was travelling for work and do not like to log into ebay from the hotels internet connection. I called my wife to do the bidding while I watched the price from the hotel. Team work at it's best.
