Hey guys:
well train show day. went with my "Interurban/Traction? club to a show today with our show layout. Haad fun. Spent a little over 420 on "stuff"
Got a 40' HiCube UP Tyco BC in case some one on the forum wanted it.
A really funny "Bobber" caboose that was KB'd from Gawd knows what but they put in windows and gave it CNR decals...
RH 26' Old Time tank car which is my all time favourite piece of Rolling stock
and finally a small Yankee drill or thumb push pin vise....
I'll try to get picture for nect week...

I've got a Yankee driver myself. The spring's still in it and has already come close to gouging some eyeballs, but that's another story.
I look forward to seeing this bobber caboose very much. You know it's cool when you have no idea what it is!

| Glad you enjoyed yourself, Gareth. We had one here yesterday that I did pretty well at myself...lotta G scale though, but there were enough HO and N deals to keep me happy.

Sounds like you did good Gareth! Glad everyone else has been having good luck also. We went to another show today, much smaller and far more local than the greenburg show a week ago. This turns out to be somewhat of a good thing because there were some good deals and lots of PRR stuff. I scored a set of wheels that were plastic on one side and EXACTLY the same size as the brass tender wheels on my PRR T1 (which were causing the tender to ground out). Swapped all the wheels on the one side to plastic and now the T1 can make left turns and not go dead on the rails. Picked up a few decals since they were cheap. My friend grabbed a neat bachmann spectrum center cab switcher with a little bit of custom work done to it. And I got a good deal on another basketcase, a Rivarossi 2-8-8-0 with a vanderbuilt tender & B&0's roadname. It ran really good at first, then after a few mins it begins to slow down pretty bad. Something with the motor I'm sure, wonder how well these swap
