I'm glad to see Model Power isn't just churning out the same old molds and is actually upgrading them. I'm a little urked that the logger comes with drive shafts now after the fights I've had with mine Only thing that sorta sucks is the cost. In a couple of years though I might keep a eye open for one of these. Wonder how one of the Pacific's would look with a few yardbird detail parts added on!

Oddly enough, my first thought looking at them was "Wow these are nice, though they look a little bland. I bet it would be easier to buy a used one a pull a Ray on it." Not that is a bad thing But there are a few loco project's I'd like to try to tackle someday. And the older Mantura Pacific's fall on that list.

Actually I forgot my friend has one in waiting. I cleaned it up last year, but it still needs work & a new motor. They won't bring anything like this out again.

I likes that Chessie loco & Chessie really did paint a loco like that I seen in ads Amtrak & I think a Penn Central steamer & maybe a BN steamer idk Gotta love the fantasy locos
