Athearn's second group of RTR SD-38 diesels are due to arrive in Early March '07 for $99.98 each.
This is the former Rail Power Products shell with enhancements. Notice Athearn's done some as early SD-38 models and others are SD-38AC's.
I didn't buy any of the first run, but did put in an order for the McCloud River Railway example seen here...looks nice...

hi tony just been looking at those plus these,athearn really seem to be going from strength to strength,i am definatly going for a couple of the aniversary models due in jan/feb, ken
