Very good statistics for October 2009. There was a very significant increase in posting activity, you have to go back 7 months to match those numbers. Also new membership is very steady. All of this really kicked in mid October. I'm thinking this place will really be hopping this winter.

Spread the word and please do it subtly, being subtle will attract people.

Yeah I think we'll be seeing some neat winter projects this time around. I've got some plans myself. Nothing major though, until we move of course.

At some point soon I'm gonna be helping out one of my teachers at school with his Christmas layout; doing some cleaning and installing LED lights in place of the regular Christmas bulbs. He usually has some neat old junk to repay me with too, so I'm looking forward to it!

Well Todd, you have been missed! I know I was getting a little disenchanted. Your return has rejuvenated me which at my age is pretty hard to do! Enjoy your Drefuss, its a beaut. And thank you for hosting the nicest fun and games site on the web!

Good to see things are looking up! I joined this forum in hopes of stimulating more discussion and more activity.

I do have one question...I saw the announcement about limiting "spam" on the boards. Has this been a problem? It tripped my paranoia alert. I always considered spam to be things like "get cheap Viagra at www.whatever...." but I've never seen that here. What makes up a spam comment, and is it a problem? I'm feeling a little shy about posting now. Is it spam to just leave comments like "nice loco?"

You're correct in your understanding and no, it's not spam to quickly comment. There were some items that have been removed and the situation has been addressed.

You just made all the effort I put forth over the past month worth every minute. I mean it. That really brings a great sense of satisfaction to me. Thanks Loopy.

I noticed that there has been almost a new member every day! Used to be more like one per week The new member map is really cool too.
