I recently saw the Anerican Flyer Alco Century model, in Maroon, at a train show for around $90. It was complete and used but had also been at the last show that was near by in the spring with the same vendor. My question is what years was that produced and how do they run.
I was lucky enough to get an excellent AF caboose that is posted in CotW.

Hi Alco Fan. The AF Alco is a model of a DL-600. Cataloged from 1956 to 1961. Only came in two road names #430 GM Demonstrator (1956-57) and #31017 C&O and #31022 C&O with bell (1958-61) If you found one in execellent condition for $90 That would be a Good Price, as these engines are getting harder to find without being damage.

Thanks. Maybe I should have gone for it though I might see it again in the spring since I've seen it a spring and fall show.
I think P2K has one out and I believe I could have had one at the same show for $80.
