| Looks nice Erich! I couldn't tell from the video titles, is this your layout or a friends? Neat setup, I like how they go along the walls & gives them lots of room to run. I almost thought the middle section might have been Marklin but I guess its all standard HO stuff?

Yes it is a friends layout and I am always a guest here. the section in the middle was the first part he build. he added one loop after an other with many turnouts. no marklin, normal stuff. then he added the lines on the wall. - Erich

Erich,
Very interesting layout... Is that your Varney running? You should have posted the URL of the third video you posted today... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V95AyO7nzf4 It shows Erich's Varney F3 project close up... Smooth running, window glazing and a great headlight.. It's must see! Eric, what livery are you going to dress the lovely in?
Neat layout and a super F3 Eric! Thank you for posting.

| I'm in the same boat Erich, living through my friends layout haha. Very cool though. I love listening to the Varney make laps, it has a cool sound to it for a model. Plus the LED was a great touch. Is the whole layout DC?

Hi Loopy, Hi Chris!
Thanks for your feedback, glad you like it.
Answering your questions, I tell you that the layout uses DCC for the locos. Turnouts are analog switched. The engine in the layout vid is my Varney pulling a plastic dummy.
I like the F showing its diecast shell, representing how models were build 50 years ago. Otherwise I dont like paintjobs very much, but I think to colour one unit in PRR livery.

Nice Erich!
The second video reminds me a bit of places I've been in Wiesbaden and Hanau, Germany.
