I think the URL describes it best...
http://www.maniacworld.com/train-vs-tornado.html
Also click the link within about how a train (otherwise) stays on the tracks.

that would suck. after the wind blows it off track, the back half slams into it. that would suck.

I found it on YouTube as well, and it's a longer version with a sharper picture. Watch it in HQ so you can really see the mayhem.

That crew was dang lucky, but it must have been a very small tornado. I wonder what the tanker was carrying.
(Edit: I just changed the link to one that has all of the info about the tornado.)

That's insane! There is pucker factor on a few levels with that one.
Sorta reminded me of this video. Most of you have probably seen it, but its still scary. Notice the two guys jumping from the train at 43 second mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-kZONm3E6A

| Good thing Tank cars are designed to take a severe impact like that or it would have been more than a pucker factor--L-O-L

I saw this on Shaygetz's blog a few days ago, it still gives me chills to see that tank car bouncing and bobbing up to the front of the train, sparks flying whole time. And then the impact!
The only rail cars I've seen tossed around that easily are models, of course.
