At my local hobby shop, he has a bin of diecast for 50 cents. I picked up some.

The last two pics are of a 1979 Hotwheels tanker.

Unfair!! I've been scouring the internet for some decent diecast vehicles. I live in a fairly small town, so the only hobby shop I have is small and specializes in remote control cars, but they do have some HO items. The only diecast cars they have are old fashioned and cost 4.99+ .

Thanks -I am looking for any construction equipment, or semi trucks with or without trailers, although I would prefer trailers. A few tank trucks like you have wouldn't hurt, either. If you see any that would be great! Thanks.

I've been looking for some HO tour buses, or something similar, just found out about these old 1965 Matchbox Coaches, #68, I LOVE the bubble canopy look, I wanted something like this for my HO scale airport and airshow dioramas ( future, anyway ). Here's what one looks like :

I'd never seen a complete one until 2 weeks ago, so I've been bidding on them on Ebay, I now have 6.5 of them ( I had one with no roof, didn't know it was this one until I bought my first one 2 weeks ago ).
Seems like there's plenty of them still out there, normal collector price is $15-20, I'm buying them for $1-5 with shipping extra. I'll probably stop at 8-10 of them. Nothing modern like them, so I'll pay the prices. :)

Hi All,
I just can't get enough of these little cars. My favorites are the Matchbox regular wheels, some are pictured below.

I collect any and all Matchbox vehicles and others. I have containers and boxes full of open and unopened vehicles. It's official I"M HOOKED LOL!

Thanks for looking

I love this like I love Eggo's...
I've been packing for the move to the new house. Came across this packed deep away in my closet. No clue why I still had it, but I did. Got it for a promotional thing with Kellogg's way back in the early 90's. There were 2 trucks, the main one they gave away was a Model T. They ran out of those fast and gave out these Model A's instead. I don't even think this made it onto my family's old Christmas layout back then. Either way I'm gonna keep it as is and eventually it will find a good home when I goto build my own layout.

Hey Chris, I distinctly remember having one of those trucks as a toy when I was younger. Except instead of Eggo, mine was an awful looking orange Willy Wonka one. I remember it because it was so ugly!

Just visited a hobby shop in town and grabbed these from the 50 cent bin... Some are projects I like to work on.
I am not an expert on trucks, but does this look like and Autocar?

And something to go with my Tyco Superman Car,

Mike

Hi Mike,
I like the tow truck and the VW van! Will you be restoring the tow truck or turning it into something else?
