My son's Thomas stuff gets retired to my shelf as he tires of them. The M&Ms are from Christmas 2007---you'd of thought they would've offered cars every year after.

I had one like first one as a child in a Mickey Mouse theme. I played with it for HOURS. My mom swore she gave it to me, but I don't have it in my possession other than one of the character cards. Oh, how I loved that little train.

I have a white version of this. Or should say had. It's lost in the abyss called my crafting room or pwnd by two little gals - one blonde and one red-brown headed.
GIC should be happy that the women folk love cars and trains honestly in his house (and I type howse like in winnie the pooh! opps! time for bed!)

Back in the early 70s, a very young B 67 saw one of these trains high up on a shelf in a toy shop. Well, it was probably chest height to an adult, but it was very high to me at the time. The shop assistant turned it on for me and, naturally enough, I wanted it. I didn't get it though.
All these years later, it's amazing to see these things are still being made, albeit somewhat different to the one I originally saw, which from memory, was more like the one in the above picture. I've still never got one, but they do appear regularly on eBay, so who knows. I might relent one day - especially if I see one locally.

Way to go there buddy. Very interesting and in excellent shape too. I have a tin train by Marx that runs on batteries and spins on the floor while whistling like a steamer, from the late '50s I think.

I bought these cheaply, and used, or I wouldn't have bought new ones. They are colorful.

I think i have a couple sets, with boxes 'n' track, somewhere in my deep abyss. Now I have something else to pull out of the dark hole that is my collection of train that I haven't used recently...

I have the caboose and that coal car from the Lionel Halloween train. My mom always buys train toys for me when she finds them at garage sales. Last summer she found a couple really cool ones plus a busted up Life-Like Spirit of '76 train set I'll get around to posting eventually. I also have that Anastasia BK train...probably my favorite battery powered train when I was a kid. It's good for Christmas displays
