Still none posted yet? Guess I'll start it then:
Glad to finally have this one accounted for, it was the only Tyco GG1 that kept getting away from me.
Has anyone else ever noticed that the design of the otherwise fake Tyco 3-axle "Vampire" truck sideframe, actually seems inspired by the lines and curves of the GG1? In that sense it fits quite well.

This may be the only time I can post this then haha.
This is the only engine not on my friend's layout with the others. Though I did run it awhile back. Aside from needing a tune-up it runs very well compared to many of the other Tyco's we have laying around. I debated repainting it once. Then realized this engine has been around in my family forever, I like it just as it sits (aside from the fact it needs washed). I look forward to the day I get my own layout, this will be the first engine to run over its rails.
BTW Tony nice GG1! Though my head almost exploded when I started looking at the truck arrangement, then started thinking about the newer IHC GG1 my friend has, and how the trucks on the Tyco really don't match at all haha. Still, it looks good no denying that.

Nice silver one, I find it interesting that they used an accurate road number on it for that color...mine reminds me of my Aunt Hilda's '56 DeSoto...

What parts does it need? If just a sideframe I may have one lying around. I even have spare pantographs although those should probably stay with their project shell.

I have to find a pair of sideframes and the pantographs. I figured I would pick up the parts at the next show. I may build a set of pantographs for it. http://www.2guyzandsumtrains.com/Content/pa=showpage/pid=7.html

HOLY CARP! That's pretty awesome!
Seems like too much work for a Tyco, though
If you still need the sideframes, let me know. I may be able to scrounge a pair. At least I think I saw some in my junk box as organized as I can be, it's still a mess around here at times.
