Well it's been taking forever, but the time is fast approaching where I'll be able to make my new website live. There will be a section devoted to Tyco of course - small and familiar for starters but I'm hoping will grow in the future. Indeed I have plans, all in due time.
To that end I just spent several hours indexing and preparing almost 500 photos of my collection for a gallery...
With any luck, barring any disasters, it might even reach public "beta" (there's an overused word if ever there was) this weekend...
Just putting the teaser out there. Ya'll'll be among the first to know.

Beta? You mean Sony Betamax tapes?
Seriously, I'm really looking forward to seeing this site!

Well it's as "done" for now as it's gonna be... a few things to tidy up yet before I start adding more in earnest. But for now I feel comfortable enough to give out the address.
You ready for it? You'd never guess... http://www.goingincirclez.com
Still a work in progress, but I hope you all find some interesting stuff there. You can sent comments thru the site but there is no user registration (no need for it) yet. Anyway comments and suggestions and whatever is always welcome. Thanks for all the support from here over the years. And those of you who wish I would leave here, well maybe you'll get your wish, ha ha!

| Great site Tony! I spent a few hours last night reading the stuff readling background on the Tyco rolling stock. Which was nice for future shopping reference. Also it was great reading the STC and its history. Really awesome for such a small layout!

I like the banner at the top that always changes. Interesting pictures...
I remember watching Darkwing Duck now and then, that was only when there was nothing good on. My uncle had a big, duck shaped goalie mask like in the cartoon, but it shattered at some point.
And the small pop-culture references are really neat, like Batman of course, and I think I saw Trogdor on a boxcar!
Only problems I see are that a few pictures in the STC Mission page do not work, the last two I believe, and that I can't find your big blue Lincoln anywhere!

The Lincoln is coming... as I said, there's lots more to add in time. I have some Urban Decay and Rural Ruin, prototype railfanning, and more "family album" type stuff to add as well. (Hint: the banner images hint at previews). And the Lincoln may soon be joined by a Model A if I get my wish (and work toward it this summer)...
You're right that the main STC page needs a little tweaking. I'm still fleshing out the details in the back of my mind but was tired of that holding everything up. There's a few pics of the old, old STC (like pre-highschool days even) I should scan sometime.
For those who took the time to look and comment here.... thank you! It is appreciated. It's no big hurry for fame or fortune, but nice to finally take that figuritive first step. If there's things you guys would like to see, let me know.

I had a lot of help, but with the exception of couple dozen "rarities" pretty much all of that is readily available, and affordable. Of course shipping is much higher now than when I got the bulk of it, but you'd have to pay that either way. Even going to a show costs gas and admission.
I lusted after catalog stuff for years. It's fun to have it in hand now. I have lots of ideas in mind yet, not enough time to pull it off for now. But you've got plenty of time to get yours... It even took me a few years to get what you see.
