| The only thing I'm aware of is signal flags. My Braodway/PCM Chessie Steam Special hast those, and even included little flags to put into them!

I think the placement varied from railroad to railroad, or even loco to loco class. But maybe there were other uses too... I'm not a steam expert.
BTW what exactly is that loco? It looks deliciously evil, and not even steam

Hah! Wow. Ok, maybe not evil then, just pleasantly twisted. Still, the close-up of that front end looked like something seriously sinister. Like the locomotive the crazy bad guy would use to run over the damsel tied to the tracks...

The front of an early Mack Bulldog...I always liked the small circular radiator grille.

Hey Ken:
Are you running any of this stuff, or just in one long uncontrolled attempt to stimulate the western economy!?
I finally came to the conclusion that continuing to collect and add to my locomotive collection was not going to be ultimately gratifying so I froze it where it is with an understanding that I have to build or modify some stuff. That is creating or crafting. Collecting it seems to me is veiled consuming, and more and more I find myself turning away from that.
Course it may be an adaptive response to my very modest financial status. I may finally have learned to live within my means and if that is true the future for me is pretty bright!
What about you? Is there a master list and you'll eventually have everything within a given theme or what?

Hi Ken:
Hope to have a place with a garden in a few years. What they call here a "Market" garden meaning I hope to grow enough organic produce to provide an income from selling at Market. Alternatively haveing people come and pick up their produce and using a garden RR to add to it's appeal may be a god idea... have to see. hey the world could be gone tomorrow or next week who knows right!?
