Ken I have the same urges to give into the demons inside of me and go buy things I don't need. I really want a NYC Niagara with matching passenger consist (when I get my own layout, I want that to be my crown jewel of a passenger train). And daily I see stuff I want to buy just to try it (I need to stay off model powers website, dunno why I keep going there and wanting things). Good call on the T1, probably the only locomotive that could make me turn my head away from a Big Boy! I'd love to see videos of the two in action.

Both great choices, Ken. factory direct has been having some real blowout sales.

Am I beginning to notice some Big Boy fever here?

have always wanted a big boy,but the rivarossis to my eyes always seem to have problems, and for the money people want for a large lump of plastic,i have stayed away from them, but having purchased a number of broadway items, and like their build quality, they were reasonable in that they were half price so i went for it ken
unfortunatly mine will not be here for a week or so but a couple of you tube videos of the big boy are below
