Couldn't tell ya if it's modeled after a specific prototype,but is sure looks convincing.
If you're into railcars like that check out the book called The Shortline Doodlebug.
It's a great book with lots of pictures of railcars from Brill,Mack,White,and lots of homebuilt cars.
