Oh man that looks like one cool show, just looked it up on their website.
Unfortunately, this is one of only a few shows the Canadian version of the Histroy Channel doesn't carry.
However, they'll probably introduce it in a few months as being "new"...
Oh, and I miss that Dogfights show they had. It was my favourite. Did anybody else watch that?

Sounds like a cool show. As Matt said though, another show we don't get in Canada ...not yet atleast.

That was pretty sick show. I didn't really like the episodes with jets though...the prop driven fighters were more interesting to watch. Now they're making that show with the USS Enterprise. It's pretty much the same thing, only with ships.

| It was a great show.. Showed Horseshoe Curve. The rotary dump at power plant was cool as was the locomotive lift and the North Platte Wheel change crew--they can change a flat wheel on a car in 5 minutes or less. The host stated that Nascar crews visit to watch and learn form them--Interesting.

Sorry guys...this is probably going to ruffle a few feathers but I got to say this and it is not my intention to start a flame war BUT...
I just got done watching it on DVR and I can sum it up in one word.....
UNWATCHABLE !!!
if that even is a word ??? Any English teachers here ?
That "host" had to have been the biggest jerk I have ever seen in my life !!!
WHAT A IDIOT !!!!
The NS employees seemed very uncomfortable around him...is this the effect there going for ?
Could have been such a nice informative program without that stupid stupid man .
I guess I have watched to many episodes of the "American Experience" over the years and it insulted my UMMM how should I say ? "refined tastes" maybe ?
Gotta go "The Simpsons" are coming on !!!

Hey Taycotrains,
I tend to agree. I think they could have done much better for the host of this show. The guy was a little over the top for me.

Ty Pennington with a bullhorn would be less annoying than that guy. He acts like a frustrated rapper.

| I agree that they need a new host and i noticed that some of the people around him seemed annoyed-- irrtated or uncomfortable. The host is/was a former conductor according to History channel.

I recorded the show but haven't watched it yet. People on another forum were saying he was a bit calmer in this episode. I just wish they'd stop using a hand-held camera at ground level with him leaning into it like a pro wrestler.
