We picked up another Roco E7 at the show we went to today.
This one is a PRR and just as stout and noisy as the UP.
The two of them double headed actually make the layout table vibrate!

Run them continuously and let us know how many hours it takes for the screws to fall out of your benchwork.

They don't sound very loud. If the shells don't rattle, they're quiet for a Roco E. For all I know the previous owner who used the putty method on the motor threw it further out of balance.
