Enemy of the State--Will Smith-Gene Hackmman-one of my favorite actors. This clip shows the car chase scene in the Conrail Rail yard.

As a kid I liked the train scene from Back To The Future 3. I've gotta admit though, I don't like this movie nearly as much as I did.

In case you were wondering, it's a model. Although it's still pretty sad to see it go...

This has to be one of the best train movies ever. John Voigt is amazing.

Can't forget this scene.
They did a hilarious spoof of it in "Wrongfully Accused", starring Leslie Nielsen:

Interesting it lasted only one season. But, had 32 episodes. Now a days a Season is only 8 episodes, if your lucky. Carl

ROFLMAO! I've never seen that before, Matt. The plunger couplers and the U-Boat chasing him through the woods had me sliding out of my chair. Now I have to rent it.

When a formerly brilliant, now seemingly senile inventor is murdered in his electric train workshop, the mystery is afoot. It seems no one could have come in or gone out during the period of time when the murder must have taken place. In order to get admittance to the train room, one had to have a "ticket." This narrows the suspects down to his family and his business associates.

I find I'm remembering a good number of clips of trains just out of the few movies I've seen.
Anyways, here's another one, a little more obvious. The opening to Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade featured a chase along an old style Circus train:

I kinda wish they'd shown more of the locomotive instead of just the valve gear.

Thought of another clip today! The scene in "Ghostbusters 2" when they are checking out the old abandoned rail lines under New York city.
Only, they aren't exactly abandoned...
