I've been looking for one of these Uboats by Riv for a while now. Cousin to the Tyco-Mantua Super 630. Runs smoothly.

Both of my Life-Like GP38-2s that I got from the boxlot shipped to me from up north...

The Santa Fe unit was in peices between two boxes but is complete and undamaged.

This is one of the 4 engines I picked up at the train show this weekend. It's an AHM RS-3. Got it for $10, cleaned and lubed it, and am really surprised at how well it runs--very smooth, and decent low speed, and hasn't stalled once even though only one truck picks up power.

Another one of my train show finds from last weekend: A new Tyco shifter in Pennsy livery ($10), and a set of three heavyweight passenger cars ($10). The cars are older Life-like, I think from old Varney molds--A coach, diner, and Pullman sleeper. The coach and diner are lettered for the Southern, the sleeper is labeled "Pullman."
