Hi guys, I just got a beat up Tyco Silver Streak diesel from a train show and my son is "rebuilding" it. It is missing a side of the rear truck and the center set of wheels, are these parts avail? Or what used models should I look for?

Welcome to the forum. Those are Power Torque trucks. They were designed to be used as both 4 and 6 wheeled trucks. Your Silver Streak is set up as a four wheeled truck as there is no center "bearing" in the frame casting, even though there is provision for it in the drive casing.
I looked through my cache of parts and could not find a match for you but I'm sure someone in this forum will be able to help. Most any from that time period will work.
