So, I used the term ALCO in an all categories eBay search
The result ALCO - GE Diesel Locomotive, Circa 1943, 1000HP - Item number: 250300111253 Price $30,000
Madame Queen, looking over my shoulder (she usually is) immediately went into her NO mode and hit me with her Intent to kill glare
and so it goes

What could one do with an ALCO switcher in the backyard?
Oh yeah, take it for a joyride on the weekend.
