I have been working on this on and off this week. It is a glass tile sky scraper made from real glass tiles and styrene plastic. I am currently working on several other designs. Since no manufacturer is building or producing these-i am. There is a demand. The price on these won't be cheap if i sell any as they are time consuming. Currently-i have 2 hobby shops that will attemp to sell these. This is the first bldg completed. I have a larger glass tile that i am still working on--waiting on parts to finish. This one is not finished as i am going to paint black between the windows and gray for base.

Outstanding Brian!! Very cool indeed. About how long do you take per building? Assuming you were to work steadily from start to finish that is. About how tall is the one you have pictured there? How about making it as a "kit" to be assembled after purchase?

Hi Hipopnera. Assembly time per wall takes about 60- 90 minutes to glue all the glass tiles. There are 88 tiles per wall--8 across and 11 high. The small styrene border is custom cut strips to help hold the tiles and give it the lines. To completly assemble this 3 sided bldg is close to 4 hrs. Everything is custom cut. The hieght on bldg pictured is 7 inches. I am working on another bldg that has larger glass tiles. I have also found some new materials to construct some more sky scrapers made of gold silver and some other colors. I have one that i am going t0o build that is round shaped. I am going to increase the hieghth also. I will post photo's as i get them built. There is a high demand for models of this type-but not many manufacturers of them. The ones i am constructing are modern type bldgs.
